Coordinates the packing activity and schedule for the Final Inspection employees to meet the shipping truck schedule and customer due dates.
· Determines amount of packing material and supplies required for operations, based on production schedules, and assures packing materials are available.
· Coordinates the packing activity for the Final Inspection employees per the production and shipping truck schedule.
· Coordinates the shipping and receiving activity, schedules trucks for shipments to customers or outside processors. Completes all forms, paperwork, manifests, bill of lading as required.
· Develops new part packing work instructions to meet customer requirements
· Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
· Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB DUTIES:
- Organizes operations on the press floor through direction from the Shift Supervisor.
- Plans daily work schedules based on customer needs and expectations
- Assists Shift Supervisor on manning hours required to complete assigned tasks
- Assists Supervisor in scheduling team to cover vacations or days off;
- Regulates all overtime hours
- Monitors or assists in the training of all personnel in the press area

- performs (and enforces) quality checks and recording of data in SQC

As the Manager, Indirect Procurement - Mfg, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies required to plan, source, negotiate and implement the procurement of various indirect goods and services to sort our enterprise manufacturing facilities. Potential categories of support include CapEx, Facility Services, MRO, and Logistics. Working with procurement leadership, this role will create a long-term sustainable approach to integrate procurement best practices within manufacturing. In addition, this role will also take on active development and execution of new and /or improved enterprise-wide procurement process and policy implementations.
This position is responsible for preparing and setting up tooling from extrusion schedule to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity by performing the following duties:
· Set up Schedule based on production needs
· Strip and clean dies in the caustic system
· Maintain inventory of dies
· Support the daily needs of the die shop and press
This position will be required to perform other duties as assigned.
This position is responsible for the setting the billet length, furnace temperature controls, and press speed for optimum production and quality. Watches metal for quality issues, such as pick up, tear out and die lines. Makes appropriate adjustments to operating set-up to try to correct issues. Reports problems to supervisor and management to improve productivity and quality. Regularly checks all equipment reporting and immediately reports any problems to supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned.
