SUMMARY: Maintenance Tech Repairs and maintains the equipment of all production and facilities equipment. Must have excellent diagnostic ability and repair skills in a variety of fields, such as but not limited to, mechanical, welding hydraulics, pneumatics combustion and electrical. This is a night shift position from 7pm-7am.
Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and five or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience should include welding competency, hydraulic and pneumatic circuit components, knowledge of relay logic components, PLC logic components, bearing, gear reducers, equipment alignment and piping installation.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use measuring devices, rulers, micrometers, etc.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to read maintenance blueprints, hydraulic schematics, ladder diagrams and bill of materials.
