Quality Inspector I

Training in the quality department Monday thru Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• This position is primarily responsible for preparing Tensile Samples using Oliver & band saws and drill press.
• In addition, they perform Tensile tests using Tinius Olsen equipment.
• Documents test results using Document Manager system.
• Creates material certifications using spreadsheet form(s).
• Prepares samples for Flare testing and folding tests. Performs flare and folding tests using Tinius and hydraulic press.
• Documents test results by photographic means.
• Creates material certifications using spreadsheet form(s)
• Secondary duties include:
• Deburring samples for vision system inspection.
• Assists in Gage R&R studies.
• Performs material sorts using calipers or hand gages.
• Assures Inspection areas are clean and safe for use.

Previous experience in quality in manufacturing.
