Maintenance Tech 8

Consider joining the Pennex family as a Maintenance Tech 8 at our Wellsville, PA location.  The Maintenance Tech 8 is responsible for inspecting and repairing electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers. This position specializes in the upkeep and repair of electrical systems and equipment.  As a Maintenance Tech 8, you will be troubleshooting electrical issues and performing preventative maintenance.

This position is 2nd shift, 3 PM-11 PM.

• Inspecting and repairs electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers.
• Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams
• Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems
• Use hand and power tools
• Adhere to state and local building regulations
• Create records of materials used
• Complete work orders on time
• Set up and test computer systems by running cables and connecting computer jacks and plugs
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems
• Profram and troubleshoot PLC automated systems
• Other duties as assigned

Education

• Required: High School Diploma
• Desired: Technical/Trade certification

Experience

• 5 Years- Electrical Maintenance
• 7-10 Years Preferred

• A desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn and apply new skills
• Attentive to details and follows through on assigned tasks and commitments
• Flexible and driven to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and prioritize them appropriately
• Strong organizational skills, and ability to effectively disseminate information in a clear and concise manner
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available
• Hydraulics experience
